Born from Lived Experience in the Sector
Purpose Forward was founded by Greg Zatulovsky, CPA, CMA, after 15 years of navigating the operational challenges of the nonprofit sector firsthand. From managing complex financial reporting to coordinating HR systems and implementing technology solutions, Greg witnessed the gaps that prevent grassroots organizations from reaching their full potential.
The challenge was clear: nonprofit leaders were spending too much time on back-office operations and not enough on their mission. For-profit consultants were expensive, often lacked sector specialization, and provided siloed solutions that didn't integrate with each other.
So we created Purpose Forward—a Canadian nonprofit dedicated to delivering comprehensive operational expertise at a fraction of traditional costs. We help organizations establish strong financial systems, HR frameworks, governance structures, and technology infrastructure from the start.
